NEWS - Help with the cost of living

We are all aware of the financial pressures at the moment from rising food and fuel costs. Oxford City Council has compiled some resources which may be useful to help with the cost of living crisis.

Information for new...

These pages provide information for those taking up new roles in any area of the University. If you have any specific employment-related queries please address these to the main contact in your department/college.

The Student Information Team will contact all new international students who meet the terms of their offers with details of the orientation programmes available at the start of the academic year (September/October). Students starting in Hilary Term (January) or Trinity Term (April) will be sent an induction pack before they arrive.

Advice on common questions about beginning your course can be found on the International Students pages, or you can contact the Student Information Team if you have a specific question.

If your circumstances are more complex and you may require ongoing support from the Welcome Service during your relocation, please ask your departmental or college administrator to make a referral, including details of the position you have been offered, expected start date, and an outline of the assistance required. Subject to capacity, we will do all we can to meet your requirements and to refer you to contacts within the University and beyond as appropriate.

Oxford University Welcome Service makes no charge for its services, and acts in an advisory capacity only. Please note that the University does not endorse any of the external resources or providers listed on this website.
